The European exchange program for entrepreneurs
Erasmus Young Entrepreneurs helps aspiring European entrepreneurs acquire the necessary skills to successfully start and/or run a small business in Europe. Young entrepreneurs meet and exchange knowledge and business ideas with an experienced entrepreneur, with whom they live and collaborate for a period of 1-6 months. The stay is partly financed by the European Commission.

Benefits
As a young entrepreneur, you will benefit from on-the-job training at a small or medium-sized business in another participating country. This will facilitate the successful launch of your business or strengthen your new business. You can also benefit from access to new markets, international cooperation and possible opportunities to work with business partners abroad.
As a host entrepreneur, you can benefit from a new entrepreneur's fresh ideas for your business. The new entrepreneur may have specialized skills or knowledge in an area that you are not well versed in and which could also complement your own. Most host entrepreneurs enjoyed the experience so much that they decided to host other young entrepreneurs afterwards.
It is truly a mutually beneficial cooperation as both sides can also discover new European markets or business partners and different ways of doing business.
In the long run, you will benefit from extensive networking opportunities and may decide to continue your collaboration, possibly as long-term partners (eg joint ventures, subcontracting activities, contractor-supplier relationships, etc.).
Who can participate?
New entrepreneurs who are planning to start their own business or have already started one within the last three years.
Experienced entrepreneurs who are owners or managers of a small or medium-sized business in one of the participating countries.
